Babu was the caption of the hockey team class IV. His team had won the last two matches against class V.

“We will win the next match too’, said Babu.

However they could win. They would have won it, had Babu not lost the ball to Anil, who sent it straight into goal. Babu was very upset. He caught hold of Anil and shaking his fist at him, shouted, “this goal is not fair. You pushed me’’.

“I did not,’’ replied Anil.

“He did not,’’ the referee too said. “The game continues.’’

“will see you during the break,’’ Babu shouted at Anil, glaring at him.

After the match was over, Babu told everyone that he would teach Ail a lesson.

Anil told everyone that he would not fight. He wanted to be friends with Babu. “Those who want peace do not fight,’’ Said Anil.

Babu laughed at Anil’s beliefs and called him a big fool.

That’s what he told Anil when he pounced upon him. But Anil shook himself free and said, “There is no reason to fight.’’

“There is!’’ cried Babu and tried to punch Anil on the nose. Anil ducked and Babu ended up punching in the air.

Babu shook Anil angrily and both fell down ion the ground.

Then he gave Anil a blow on his ear. Anil rubbed his ear and said, “Stop fighting, Babu, why don’t we have another match?’’

11That’s a good idea! Let’s have another match and see who wins,’’ shouted the children. “Let’s have the match tomorrow afternoon!’’

“Okay!’’ said Babu, “but don’t you push me when I am picking the ball!’’

“Peace lovers don’t push’’, replied Anil and shook hands with Babu. “See you tomorrow at the playground with your team!’’
