It was faint at first, but with every step he took it became brighter. After so many years of travelling in the dark, finally he could see the light. though he was distant from where he stood, but alas, for the first time in his life, he felt something give way inside him. the weight which he had borne for so long was being shed, hope was edging away despair.

no longer will he be laughed at. no longer will he be scorned. after so many years of torment and torture, after so many years of hardwork, finally he could see the light. All his years of hard-work and dedication to duty had finally paid off.

he would not give up now, he cannot. for he has seen the light, and has confirmed his theory; that if you persist in hard-work and diligence. that if you put aside pressure from people and continue in your dreams, you shall achieve it no matter how long it takes.

He stopped, and gazed back into the darkness. into the life he was leaving behind. into despair and contempt, and he felt nothing. there was nothing for him there, but before him lay everything. before him was a new beginning, his future.
