College Life by Gay Rose GuillenaCollege life is the last stage of my education to fulfill my dreams in life. But before the graduation day, I have a long journey and lots of circumstances that will happen in my college life. It includes my sleepless nights because I am studying my lessons making my assignments and research papers, making my I.T program to defend, joining some activities in school, my family and friends, and of course the essence of love.

As a student, it is my duty to study all my lessons, making my assignments and research papers after the end of the day. Sad to say, instead of doing all those things I am in front of our television watching telenovelas while texting. Sometimes, I am in front of our computer busy having a conversation on social networking sites and playing computer games until mid-night. That is the reason why I have my failing grades. I cannot blame my professors for giving those grades. I am thankful also to remind me that I have my responsibility as a student and blaming me for what I have done and make me realized that I have to strive through.

A day goes by; our lessons are getting harder and harder. One of the most difficult subjects is our major subject. I have to make my program to defend it to our instructor. Before showing it we have a long process to do. Life of a student goes; there is a part of it that we feel bored. I feel like I am giving up, I want have some rest because my mind will not function anymore and I want to have some fun. I don’t have anything to do but keep on struggling and face the reality to be able to continue my college life.

Aside from studying, college life is full of surprises. School activities can help us to relax our mind. It is one way to develop our talent, skills and to be popular in the campus. It helps us to have some fun together with my friends. Forget all studies, subjects, lessons and failing grades. To enjoy what really is a college life.

College life is like a roller coaster; it goes ups and down. I have my family, friends and God on me even if I am in the deepest on Earth and highest on mountains. They give me courage to continue my life. They keep on saying “You can do it! Just be strong”. They are always there to comfort me even if the sun refuses to shine in me. They make my life brightest and warmest as the sun.

What is love? It seems to be a pretty simple word but there is so much meaning behind It. Love is difficult to define, difficult to measure, and frequently difficult to understand. Love is a very powerful emotion. People in love often struggle with the desire to remain in control of themselves and with the scary feeling of “losing themselves” that love often generates. Love is always in the air. I have a relationship with someone that I am completely comfortable in his company and I am happy to be with him makes me inspired. It is normal to feel this way again.
Last words that all I can say in college life are interesting, inspiring, boring, full of surprises, challenging, and of course the problems that will encounter that gives us a lot of tears falling in our eyes. College life would not be easy for me. The only thing to do is to try my best and do my part. I really have to do and manage my time. Open my eyes that this is not a joke anymore. I am here in college to make my career for the future. To be a successful and make my dreams come true.
