Info I learned from two movies and personal web researches on town history.
My deep thoughts and insights based on movies and articles I read about,
“The Mothman Prophecies.” These are the facts, we know. Mothman is a
legendary creature reportedly seen in the Point Pleasant area of West Virginia
from 15 November 1966 to 15 December 1967. Witnesses have seen
an owl like creature with glowing red eyes. Many witnesses and victims,
had burned skin rashes and red blood shot eyes. Some eyes never healed.
It was most reported seen by a Tnt mine near the “Silver Bridge” that
collapsed in the Ohio River tragedy; that claimed 67 lives. A reporter
Named John Keel traveled to ,Point Pleasant, West Virginia. He had
know knowledge of traveling there, and felt magnetized to stay there
and investigate the Mothman Mystery. He met a man named, Woody Derenberger,
who later had an Alien encounter with an Alien Named, Indrid Cold. Described
as the grinning man, this mothman looking Alien told Derenberger many
prophetic things. Derenberger met Indrid Cold on many occasions, and
according to the movie talked too, John Keel on the phone with psychic
insight.
In this story, the belief that Indrid Cold existed is the hardest event
too believe, when compared too the sightings of a giant like moth man
creature that is described as more animal than an alien. Are they
one in the same? Is Woody Derenberger a future telling psychic gone
Schizophrenic? People under mind control or delusion from something whether alien,
Government, or toxic drinking water from underground civil war and tnt
mines. The further idea of the Indrid Cold and Mothman sightings,
depict their presence following death and tragedy. Is this true
prophecy, or common sense that when either of these two are seen,
death follows.
A third element I researched in this towns history, is the alien
personality of the C.I.A’s men in Black, that came too the town. Giving
the element of the strangers that came to town. Here’s the third mystery of
men knocking on doors of all kinds asking strange questions. Strange
accents, abnormal body language. Expecting a homeowner to believe
their a door to door salesman. Picking up plates and pens, like they
never saw one before. Strange phone calls and threats too people to
not talk about them. Illegal alien’s verses real aliens, boy what
a chilling twist.
