The title is Plasma.

Plasma

The falling star fell from the sky, speeding fast; it was a small star, not one bigger than a normal person. It’s destination unknown, just wandering the empty space, looking for a home. It chose Earth. After getting in its gravitational pull, it increased in speed until it finally connected with the ground. Energy uncontainable released in an explosion, it made a crater in the ground, but soot did not fly into the sky. Instead, out walked a man and yet nothing human, still in youth, he grabbed the side of the split star; the incinerating metal that was the interior had no effect on him. He stood tall, looked to the sky to see the stars, his family, light-years away, wishing to be anywhere but here. A legend was about to be born.

They called him Plasma. Mostly because he was made of Plasma, but also because he came from a star, the only thing that can contain the energy released by plasma. The name caught on, as well as his identity. The explosion swept through the world, reaching every corner that had contact to civilization.

At first he was thought to be a man, human, but was soon found different. Along with being made of plasma, he had the ability to control phases matter. Matter is what everyone and everything is made of. He could control every phase but one, plasma.

As with matter, he could not get much energy from solids objects, more from water, a lot from gas, and an immense uncontrollable amount from plasma. There is a limit though, to how much he can burn. Weird huh? He gains energy from matter, but it strains his mind. Too much of a strain and that is the end.

The Jewish believed that there savior had finally come. The catholic think he is another prophet. Everyone else just saw him as the hero the world so desperately needed. His name is Plasma and this is his story.

“Plaz!” Toby’s voice rang through my head, disrupting my concentration and messing my fun.
