Hello my name is Kevin, and I’m 2 years old. I must say that I’ve enjoyed my life up to this point. A fairly good life.

Until this.

Yes my life is officially over. I never thought the day would come when I had to give up my diapers for a big ol’ bowl.

I mean my mommy puts me on this thing that looks as if my tooshie is gonna fall right down this round tunnel and I won’t be able to get it out.

You wanna know the worst part of if? All I do is sit there staring out in space, looking at the walls, the ceiling, and counting the tiles on the floor, (which by the way I can count up to ten now).

I mean whoever invented potty training, you couldn’t gives us some blocks to build, or a coloring book to pass the time?

Oh sure mommy checks on me every now and then and ask me am I finished, and I’ll just calmly tell her no, Because I don’t know what you want me to do! Goodness!!

Now where was I? Oh yeah, passing the time.

Anyway, I remember my diapers like it was yesterday. Running around the house with nothing but my diaper on, living carefree. I miss when the little teddy bears would turn colors when I needed a change. Or that sweet smell of the baby powder, that used to go on my tooshie, and diaper rashes *starts to cry*….gone. Everything just gone.*sniff*.

But, I got this instead. Yes, this thing that grown ups call a toilet.

I tell you people, life on the potty is rough. But ya know what? I’m gonna get through this. I’m gonna stand my ground. I’m gonna get off this potty and wear my training pants proud. For now on I’m gonna go to that daycare feeling confident. With my head held high, and I’m gonna say to all the babies of the world, it may get rough, it may get tough, and you might not have your diapers anymore, but at least I can say that I still have my tooshie and you know why? Because I’ve been on the potty. Thank You. Now time to go play. Oh yeah forgot to flush. Bye.
