One day, a king went hunting.Suddenly, he saw a tiny insect was raising its legs to combat with the wheels of the vehicle. The king asked the soldier; “What is this insect?” The soldier replied, “This is praying mantis, my lord. As an insect, it only knows how to combat and don’t know how to retreat. It disdains the ability of its enemies.” The king blurted, “If this insect is a human, then it must be the most valiant warrior in the world!” After that, he ordered the soldier to retreat the vehicles in order to ward off the brave insect. When the soldiers in the barracks heard this incident, everyone was being touched. They all knew how to sacrifice for their own country since that day. This is a very short story, but it teaches us a good lesson. Although the praying mantis is a tiny insect, but its courage is even far greater than human. We should learn to love our country and learn the braveness from this little praying mantis.
