Winter may just be a bad time to talk about god.

Two street preachers were shot recently in Florida. Jeriah Woody who listened to Tite Sufra and Stephen Ocean preach to him for a bit decided to shoot Sufra in the head, and then turned his gun on a fleeing Ocean. He shot Ocean in the back, then to finish the job, Woody walked up to Ocean and but another round in his head at point blank. Woody has surrendered on two counts of first-degree murder.

It seems preachers get shot around this time of year. Just a month ahead in March of 2009, a pastor in Maryville, Illinois was killed during a service. The gunman, like the above bold head case, walked right up to the pastor during the service and opened fire on him. The lunatic then turned a knife on himself. Thankfully, the 150 worshipers tackled the nutcase, and hopefully kicked the ever loving s#!t out of him in the process.

I don’t know if there is a reason both of these things happened at the same time of the year. But if I were a preacher I would definitely try not to piss anyone off in the winter time. which is interesting considering violent crimes tend to happen in the hotter months.
