It’s tough to be the President.
It’s tough to be President Obama,
His life is a constant drama,
Elected by a very wide range,
He promised both “hope and change”
But it seems from the very first day,
The right have had their way.
…
He said “I’ll pull the troops”,
But many remain there..“oops”,
Then that “public option” he spoke about,
His voters says he sold them out,
His tax cuts for the middle class,
The right said “stop” before you pass,
…
You must include the rich and wealthy,
They will make the economy healthy,
But make no mistake the tax cuts they seek
Will be in the bank before the end of the week,
And the U.S. deficit – yes will grow
And the Obama legacy will have nothing to show.
…
So don’t worry about the right and their drama,
Show them who’s boss President Obama,
If you want to win the next election,
Your voters don’t need to see perfection,
Just those things that you believe,
Or else those hopes for change will leave.
