At German school, who have opted for a psychology degree, come to hard times. Every year about 15,000 prospective customers to apply for a place in psychology. The majority of places, the remaining 60% will be individually awarded by the universities themselves. Here is screened out for not only the grade point average, but also to specific qualification criteria to be set by each university for itself. These include personal interviews, tests or requiring special education or vocational qualifications that are of importance for the study.
