A brief preview from a story I play to write.
Featuring Korean actors and actress.
I sat here by the window watching the rain fall from the sky to the ground. As I look up toward the sky and saw that the clouds has started to move, I then closed my eyes and pray that he had made it safely to heaven and that now he will be watching me from above.
As I open my eyes I heard a little squeal from the door. I then turn to the door and saw my little niece standing there, holding tightly to her teddy bear with tears in her big brown eyes. I motioned for her to come toward me, at first she hesitated then walked slowly toward me.
I picked her up and placed her onto my lap. She then turn and stare up at me as I reach for the box of Kleenex by the window. She slowly reach up and wipe away my tears on my left cheek, it than made me realize that I too had also been crying.
“Don’t cry auntie. I know you miss my daddy. I miss him too.” she then wiped the other side of my cheek.
I slightly placed my hand over hers and pulled her closer toward me. As I held her in my arms I wonder to myself.
“Why oppa? Why have you just got up and left this world without even a warning? Why have you left your daughter in my care? Even when I’m still so young myself…how am I suppose to care for her? I don’t even know where to start. Why me, oppa? Why me?”
As my niece pulled away from the embrace, she looks up and smiles at me. “Auntie, daddy is in a good place now right?”
I look down at her and quickly wipe my tears away and smile at her. “Yes SooJin, you’re daddy is in a good place now.”
She then turns back to look at the sky. “Daddy is with mommy now…”
“Yes daddy is with mommy now.” I murmured to her ear.
“That’s good. Daddy won’t be sad anymore.” she said as she puts her little arms around my waist.
I then pulled her closer and gave her a very warm hug. “Yes your daddy won’t be sad anymore.”
