We are our own destiny.
I bet a lot of you folks don’t believe that wonderful things can happen even in the slightest thing that we do. Do you? Well I didn’t either, but do you know what made me change my mind? You see, the most fantastic magical things happen, and it all starts with little deeds. One more question, do you ever believe in destiny?
They say Life isn’t about the people we live with for a lifetime, but the people we can’t live without, even for a single moment. Perhaps the simplest way of saying this is that Life is all about the person that makes us live. Yes, indeed. And if you still haven’t yet found that person, dwelling with this quotation might just help you out, “Spontaneity leads to Serendipity.”
I’m Al, 25 years old. As a self-supporting stud, I am doing all the possible ways so I can pursue my College studies. Perhaps, I only have two hours for myself, and the rest are for the people I render my service with. Anyway, the story that I will be sharing to you, is actually one of the many mishaps I commit of being such an asshole. I screw up a lot!
One breezy morning in the month of December, I went inside a cafeteria nearby my school to have a cup of coffee. I love coffee and during that time, the weather was seemed to be a perfect time to have one. While sipping my hot cup of beverage, the view through the stained glass of the espresso bar caused me to ponder and be lost for a moment. The people passing by outside were all in a hurry and it really brought me in wondering what they were up to. It seemed like a moving painting and every passing person in it was slowly fading and disappearing. I stared carefully through the scene and examined each detail I could chase. One portion that had really caught my attention was these odd looking couple. Seemed to me they were having a small fight and as I continuously watched them, I noticed a brown stain on the man’s jacket. The man wasn’t breaking his stride and the woman who was holding a cup of coffee was keeping up with him. I assumed they got to be having an argument on something I simply can’t figure out what. I continued to stare. The tall man had stopped walking and so did the woman. The man took a deep breath and later his mouth formed a big “OKAY”. The woman smiled at him and led her right hand which was holding a white colored hanky towards the stained portion of the man’s jacket. I wasn’t wearing a high definition telescope but I clearly saw she was wiping the stain on the man’s jacket and with bright and glowing eyes, I saw them staring dreamily at each other. When the stain on the man’s jacket got evidently dried up, they stared at each other again, laughed and moved on, holding each other’s hand.
