A short story about two kids that get revenge on a babysitter.
Revenge of the Kids Aidan, December 20, 2007
“Bye sweetie”, my Mom went to go shopping at the mall. I went into the kitchen and got a Pepsi. I turned on the TV to see what was on, but there was nothing good. I peered out the window and I saw a beat up car pull up in the driveway. I heard the door open .
“Hey!” said Kaja.
“What do you want?” I said.
“Your mom wants me to babysit you.”
“I don’t need a babysitter!”, said.
“Whatever”. said Kaja.
There was a creak. Kaja opened the cupboard.
“What are you doing?” I said.
“I am going to relax in front of the TV and eat some chips.” she said.
“Those are my chips!” I said,.
“Well it looks like they are not your chips any more!”
I went into the kitchen and slumped into a chair and sighed. I heard some laughter from my neighbor, Peter. Right then a light bulb went off in my head.
I ran over to Peter’s house and yelled, “Hey Peter, do you want to earn five dollars?”
He smiled at me and said , “you can count me in!”
Me and Peter walked in to the front door. We nodded at each other then spit up. I hid in the living room and he went to the knock on my Mom’s door where the babysitter was in. Knock Knock Knock.
“What?”, said Kaja.
“Aidan barfed on the porch!” said Peter
“I’m coming”, she said in a lazy voice, “where’s the barf?”
“Tricked you, ha ha ha.” I said.
I went to the front door and locked it before she could come back in. Knock Knock
