Setting-The day after Christmas around one or two o’clock in the afternoon.  All who reside at the residence are home.  It is Maria’s turn to do the laundry because her daughters went together the past few times and payed for the laundry to be done, so the girls thought that it was only fair to stay home that day to get other things done so that they could be there to put away laundry when she returned as a chore to contribute as they should around the house before they went out.  The ground is covered with snow and it is very cold out! Prior to all of the laundry being loaded into the car Rose has a confrontation with her mother because her manager at her job whom we will call Tasha (for the protection of others who may know the pending situation) tells her that she can’t have her job back because her place of employment is cutting hours and if she were to show up with her vehicle she could bounce from store to store.  The mother and her daughters occupy the bedroom.

Rose-Mom, can I please get the car back today.  My boss Tasha said that I could have my job if I showed up with the car, and I will only use the car for work, so that I can pay you back and use my own money for school.

Maria- No, you are not using that car Rose because you are lying!  Get out of way, because this is my house and i said that I do n ot want to hear another word about it for the rest of the day!  I need to go ecause I have things to do!  Move it if you want a place to live.

Rose-How would you like it if you couldn’t go back and fourth to your job?  What in the world? (other words were used but for the sake of decency I won’t use them.)

Maria-If I come back from the laundrymat and the car is not here I will have you for grand theft auto, and I will throw you out on your tail end too.  If your sister gives me a hard time she will be out her tail end too.

( Maria has supposedly left to go the laundrymat as she had said that she would.  Rose’s sister Hannah has asked to lock the door since the other sister was about to take a shower, and the bathroom door does not properly lock, and you never know.  There is a sound of keys and Maria enters the living room asking where Rose is.  Hannah complys not knowing what is about to happen next.)
