A story about my journey to get into a college. Day one.
Day 1: SAT Registration and the Road
January 24th 2011
Welcome to my new blog! Today(sorta) began my journey to going to a college so I can make a lot of money and do awful things to many young, attractive girls. Aided or unaided by decision making inhibitors.
I say it sorta began today because I have already taken the SAT in 7th grade and the PSAT twice. I even was forced to take a SAT Prep course at my high school as a punishment for getting in trouble at home last summer! I did well on the SAT in 7th grade with a 1500 something out of i think 2100 because we didn’t have an essay. I didn’t think it was hard except it was early in the morning and long! And i knew some of the stuff I didn’t know on the test I would learn the next year in Algebra(and I was right). My first attempt at the PSAT was a success. I only missed one question and exempted one, the last question of the whole thing i ran out of time. Because I was only a Sophomore, all Sophomores and Juniors take the PSAT at my school, I was not eligible to be a National Merit Scholar. I thought this years, my Junior year, was a little bit harder and I am hoping so did everyone else. I could use the scholarship money since I have no College Fund to speak of. My mother spent it on furniture when my parents got divorced. I get my PSAT score for this year Wednesday and I really have my hopes up I can bring home some good news to my parents who are royally pissed at me right now about my grades.
Now we all know why people want to go to College. You can make a LOT more money going to college, you have sex with a LOT of hot college girls, and you can overall have a LOT of fun. My school of choice: Arizona State. Arizona state definitely conforms to these standards. It is rated one of the hottest colleges in the world and i have no doubt of that after seeing some of the girls. Its only hours away from Vegas or California. I also love sight seeing and I’ll be not far from the Grand Canyon and other parks. Arizona State is also relatively cheap compared to most schools. Especially schools offering the major I want to take, Aeronautical Engineering. Fortunately most of the college finder deals I’ve tried have also picked ASU as a top choice for me!
Now today I finally signed up for the SAT after begging my parents to let me. I needed a credit card. My dad usually would just tell me I was stupid and to wait until May and my mom kept putting it off but I finally got her to tonight. I signed up for the March 12th date because i plan to take the SAT twice to see if I can get a better score. Most of my friends took the test Saturday so I’m already behind. All of us are planning to take it in May or June again because our school offers an easy form that allows you to take the test for free. I’m going to take advantage of this two for one deal to hopefully increase my chances of a better score.
Unfortunately, I’m not rich enough to get into a college with bad grades and I am far from finished with my homework tonight. Hopefully I can bring good news of my PSAT scores Wednesday night. Wish me Luck!
