Is Santa Claus real? Or is he just a story told by parents to keep their kids behaving?
Personally, i don’t believe in Santa Claus. Maybe its because i live in Singapore, somewhere in southeast asia where theres no snow nor chrismas. I think that Santa Claus is something that parents pretend to be to make their children happy but some people, old and young has claimed to have encounters with Santa Claus himself. Here are some things that make santa look real: http://mymerrychristmas.com/2006/sightings.php There are also a couple of videos on youtube that you can watch. Some rather convincing, but most are obviously fake.
So…Who is Santa Claus?
Santa Claus is said to originate from the 4th century and he was a bishop named Saint Nicholas of Myra. He was famous for his genorosity towards the poor but sadly, died on 6th December which is the day his feast day is celebrated.
Theres something i really don’t understand. That is how he travel to every children’s home in the world to deliver presents in 1 night when he still stops at each persons home for around 3-5 minutes to deliver the presents, eat his cookies and drink milk left to him from the people and there are billions of homes in the whole world. Also, will there be elves on Earth? Flying Reindeers? Thats why i find Santa so impossible though many people have claimed to see him.
The real Santa lived in the 4th Century, He can’t be 1700 years old can he?
Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer is a verse written in 1939 for the Montgomery Ward chain of department stores in 1939. Later, it joined the 8 reindeers, Dasher, Dancer, Prancer, Vixen, Comet, Cupid, Donner and Blitzen.
Lastly, I wish everyone a Merry Christmas =D And for the believers.. hope you don’t end up with coal in your stocking =D
