At age 13, Jack already saves the game by hitting a home run.

 ”Now up to the plate Jack Lidske.” I stood there knowing that if i didn’t LEAST get a base hit, I would be miserable. “Strike one” yelled the umpire. I hadn’t even seen the ball. “Ball one.” Low in the dirt. “Ball two.” It had been in the same spot. The pitcher wound up and rocketed the ball across the plate. “Strikke two” now i was mad. I tensed up and swung. The ball flew into the outfield, hit off a kids head and landed on the other side of the fence. Chargers win, and i had hit the winning run.
