The Almighty knows how I coped up with the loss.
This date certainly has made a long-lasting impression in my mind that might take decades to be undone.
On that fine morning of Sep 11, 2001, I was in the office working when suddenly I got the news about a plane crashing into World Trade Center. I was shocked to hear this, but certainly knew that this would be a huge thing.

After finishing my work, I virtually ran to my home to see what was going on and put on the TV. When I switched on the TV, the images I saw shocked me. It was like a dreaded horror movie that I would not like to see. I saw people crying, jumping from even 80th floor of the buildings, the firefighters who were putting their life to risk and trying to save the people. All these made my drown in epic feelings of love for America that grew louder and hours and day went by.
I had always wished to go to New York and stand next to the towering beauties and have those images snapped. Oh God! I will never get such a chance. What a heartbreak! My dreams came crashing down to the ground “thud.” Sadness swept across my whole mind, body and soul. Oh wish I could have prevented it.
My anger against those who committed this crime began to rise. How can they do this? How can such a marvelous, magnificent brilliance of modern construction be destroyed? Don’t these people having heart? Didn’t they have any idea about the money amount spent on this construction, the thousands of architects, laborers, and other people who worked for decades to bring this to reality. Can they build such a thing in 1000 years? Such a splendor was it to watch the Twin Towers trying to kiss the sky. Not any other new sky scraper could bring this sort of enthusiasm which I could find in Twin Towers.
Oh! TWIN TOWERS – MAY YOUR SOUL REST IN PEACE.
