A story about money.

As he spoke, I glanced at the table next to me. A woman was reading a newspaper. She turned a page and there was my own face, staring up at me from a photograph the size of New South Wales. I was just amazed, about how quick the news comes in the Newspaper.

“I want to cancel my order!” I said to the waiter. “I have to go somewhere urgently.”

“As you wish…” replied the waiter in a Soft low tone.

I had to go somewhere and think about what I am going to spend the money on. I could spend it on a car…or perhaps do some business. Maybe donate it to some charity in Africa. But here I was, in Sydney trying to come up with things I could spend my $50,000 on.

Before yesterday, I had lots of dreams about spending my money on, but today, after finding a suitcase full of money, I had no idea on what to spend my money on.

Suddenly, there was a vibrating noise coming from my pocket. It was my Mobile – set to silent. I picked it up. It was my dad, after I heard the “Hello”.

“Son, where are you? I have been looking for you for the last 24 hours!”

”Dad, I am coming home and I have got to tell you something important,” I replied to my dad.

I walked out of the shop and found a bench. I just had to look at the money again, I couldn’t resist. I looked around and the streets were empty. This was the perfect place to have another look at the money. I opened the suitcase and WOAH! There was no money! It was empty! I could feel my heart beating and there was sweat coming down my throat. I closed it and opened it again, it was empty as expected. Am I gone mad? I thought about it for a second but how could the money disappear?

As I looked closely around the suitcase, I saw 3 shiny black buttons at the bottom of the case and on the left it said, “Wish and press,” in bold-italic letters.

I wonder what they do, but there was only one way to know- wish and press. But which one do I press first? I really wanted to try it out. I wished for $50,000 and pressed the first one. The first button had disappeared – just vanished.
