Did she do the right thing by trusting a stranger?
Sonali was an avid blogger on her company’s internal blog site…She was among those who used to write very well, but did not have a strong reader-base.
Shirish was an avid blogger too and he wrote on several interesting topics as well as projected his blog very well, which pulled in people to read his posts as well as comment on them.
He was among those known names in the blogging circuit and had a constant strong reader-base – repeat customers if you can call them in retail terms. She was one of those who used to daily visit his blog and eventually liked his style of writing!
It was a Thursday morning and she had this great plot for a story in her mind but was not able to convert those emotions into words in a right manner. So she decided to mail her favourite blogger Shirish, asking him for help.
He positively replied, asking her to send the story-line so that he could build it up for her by end of friday! She was happy enough to do that!
She was not able to attend office on friday due to a pre-planned leave. When she joined back on Monday, she was thrilled to find a mail from Shirish in her Inbox.
In the mail, he had applauded her for the wonderful story-line and had suggested her with ways to display certain emotions that she had asked for, in words.
“Read my blog”, resonated the final lines of his mail. She frivolously opened his blog page to read the latest post. Her eyes widened.
Her story was right in front of her, but on the blog of Shirish. She had not clue what to do. She was simply devastated, for blind trust had once again shown its evil side!
