The ca’stle stood high upon the mountain. It could be seen from miles away. For many years no one had ever been inside the walls surrounding it. It is said that there are ghosts protecting it night and day. All that have attempted to enter the walls of this castle were never to be seen again. A fortune in gold is still offered to anyone who can return from there with all the missing souls of those who tried to enter. The village people down in the valley below will pay this to the one who succeeds in doing so. Most who tried were their fathers and their sons of many generations. 

In a small village two countries away a small girl is born. Her name would be Sierra her proud parents said if she was a girl. Si reed if he was a boy. Years passed as Sierra grew into a beautiful young woman. Trained in the ways of her village to fight defensively against any foe. Over the years of growing up in her village she had heard so many stories of the mountain castle and the fortune offered in gold. Her family and most all the families in her village were poor. She just knew in her heart she could do the task and return to her village to make her people suffer no longer in poverty.

She also knew to that her parents would not approve of her attempting this task. Mostly because she was a women. Her father would say that only a man could do the job and survive to return. With these thoughts in mind, Sierra left her village one night with only a cloth bag of food and a spear. She left her parents a note saying she would return soon with a great treasure.
