It isn’t an article, but more a short story.

I haven’t got much time, so lets make this quick. Oh and I don’t like this font so I’ll just………Ah, now that’s more like it. As I was saying,

I’m telling you this because if they catch me; I’m dead.

If I tell you and they get me, then you can tell all this to the police. Unless they get you first. I was leaning against a wall resting. There was an alleyway on my right and a pub on my left. I could hear laughter and Television and the ramblings of drunken people from the pub. I was about to leave, when I heard something strange. There were two people talking in the alley. I couldn’t see them from where I was, but I could hear them. “Thursday, four o’ clock, at the base. Be there. And if anyone follows you, put a few bullets through their head,” one of them said with a deep voice. “Remind me where the base is, first.” Said a slightly older sounding voice. “Age getting the better of you? The base is at the por—

“Wait!” the old man interrupted. “I heard something! We’re not alone!” I peeked around the corner. “Someone’s been eavesdropping!” A young boy got up from behind an overflowing bin. “Don’t hurt me!” he pleaded. “Sorry kid,” The deep voiced man said. Then he pulled out a gun and fired. Murder. In cold blood. And I had seen it.

I decided that I would investigate this “Meeting”. I needed good proof that this deep-voiced man had shot the boy. If I went to the police now it was my word against that of the two men. I probably should have gone straight to the police, but I don’t know what I was thinking.

I gathered equipment on Thursday morning. I had decided that I would bring a box of matches, a camera, my phone, a flashlight, and a tape recorder. I had also stayed up half the night watching a friend stitch bullet-proof Kevlar into the inside of my jacket and trousers. It was itchy as hell, but…it served a purpose. Hah. You were expecting a spoiler.
