The story of two mentally insane twins that visit their old loony-bin to visit their "self-proclaimed cousin" whom calls himself Twelve.
Six adjusted his shaggy blood-red wig while making sure his white hair wouldn’t spill out from it. Seven, though slightly nervous, was doing the same with his white wig and red hair. “Our little door mouse has probably gotten big this past year,” Seven told his brother as he remembered the person they were meant to visit.
In truth, as the twins stood in their red shirts and black pants, they probably would’ve rather been hung by their black ties or boot strings. As the two approached the asylum, for once in their lives, they almost frowned.
Looming near the door was a boy who appeared to be about seventeen in age. The boy had dark black hair and wore a military uniform and helmet. If a person talked to him, they would wonder why he was even in an asylum if he was just a small tad weird. That soon would change since he would start insisting that he was related to you.
Now, why would such a person scare the twins Six and Seven? Why, that answer is very simple. Six and Seven have Anthropophobia(a fear of people) that mainly stems to family members. Their dad was killed by their mother whom killer herself. She killed him because he had done unmentionable things to both Six and Seven. Six and Seven are close but don’t trust each other one bit.
That’s what’s running through their minds as they watch their “cousin” Twelve approach and hug them. The two uncomfortably and insecurely hugged their friend back. “What were your names again?” He asked the two. This time it’s Six’s turn to cause some fear. “Add our names up and you get the number Thirteen,” he whispered maniacally.
Twelve goes ghost white. “Six and Seven,” he whispers as if a hope that they’d changed their names had gone. Like the twins….Twelve had his own fear; Triskaidekaphobia. However, he didn’t know that the two know knew this.
The two finally let their smiles widen. Perhaps spending time with this “family” member wouldn’t be so bad after all.
