Skye awakens to find herself someplace she should not be. Is it a dream, vision or real?

Skye’s Dream

She woke up cold and naked on the hardwood floor. She wondered why she was on the floor as she slowly rolled over onto her back and looked around. It was late and dark into the night as she realized where she was. She felt some panic. It wasn’t her bedroom. It was her old bedroom from before she was ten.

She sat up quickly and looked around. There was nothing in the room. Then she felt like something was outside. She crouched her naked body. That was strange. She looked at herself and the panic grew. Her body wasn’t the same. She was a ten year old girl again.

She crawled slowly out of the room getting away from the windows. She had this eerie feeling that something or someone was out there wanting to do something to her.

Once in the hallway she stood up and began going checking each room. They were all empty. No furniture, no curtains and nothing in the closets. She loved being naked at home, but right now she didn’t want what was outside seeing her like this. Also being in this younger smaller body scared her.

She never thought that she would ever feel uncomfortable without her oversized breasts. She wondered if this was a dream telling her that she had been complaining too much about them.

As she left what used to be her brother’s old room, she felt like someone was behind her. She quickly turned around and looked. No one was there and she saw no one in the moonlit yard outside. But she sure did feel like something bad was out there.

She slowly went up the stairs only to find the three rooms up there to also be empty. The fear and panic within her was growing. She approached the big closet in the upstairs bedroom. In that closet was the entrance to the attic. She used to be scared of going into the attic. Until her brother hooked up a light in there. The switch was outside the attic door. She felt for it and flipped it. No light came on. Her heart sank even more.

She stood there for the longest and then took a deep breath like she would if she was going underwater. She puzzled over why she was holding it. Her hand was on the handle for awhile before she was finally able to overcome fear and open the door.

It was even darker in the attic. It was also empty. This did not seem right to her. Someone was supposed to be living here. She knew this as sure as she could feel her fear growing. She left the attic quickly.

What was she going to do? She was afraid to go outside and even if she did, she was naked. She looked at herself and felt annoyed. Why was she a little girl again? Why was she naked? Why was she in this old house from her youth? These questions just made the panic grow more.

She headed down the stairs and halfway down something brushed her hair. She twirled around and almost let out a gasp. She realized no one was there as she lost her balance and fell backwards down the stairs. She Screamed!

Everything turned over and over before she found herself face down on the floor. She didn’t want to move. She hurt all over, but mostly her back and head.

A sound from the kitchen. She held her breath. She stayed very still and listened. It was a woman’s voice. Softly speaking her name. She felt her stomach tighten. She did not know this voice.

Slowly she got up and creeped down the hallway to just outside the kitchen. She looked in.

A tall woman with long wavy hair in a sheer white robe stood in the middle of the kitchen looking right at her, “I’m here for you Skye.”
