Each night when he goes to sleep, he would get up in a trance and start to go about repairing things. It is usually things that he had seen during the day that needs repairing.

He could never understand why he would wake up very tired. This happened for many years. The people in the town was happy that their broken stuff was being repaired but were curious. One day, a few of them decided to stay awake to find out the secret. Most of them have heard of the story of elves who came to make shoes for a cobbler and thought that the same elves were in their town.

What they found instead was the little boy. Those who saw the wonderful job that the boy did wanted to thank him. However, when they tried to tell the boy, the boy just refused to believe. Finally, one of them decided to take a picture as proof and put it in their newspaper.

When the boy saw the newspaper he finally believed in them. Unfortunately, it also cured him of his sickness.

From that day on, the boy never ever repaired anything in his sleep again.

The moral: If this are working fine, don’t disturb it.
