Here is a story I made for school in honor of St. Patrick’s Day.
One day I met a leprechaun and he led me to the end of a rainbow. We traveled a long way to get to the end of that rainbow. We cut through misty fields and golden prairies. We went through noisy, crowded cities and quiet, well-kept farms. When I thought we were never going to get there, up ahead stood a black pot filled to the top of shimmeringgold. I gasped at the sight of 5 pure, white unicorns prancing around the pot, sort of protecting it. He told me that if I helped him get back to Ireland, since he was lost, he would give me some of his gold. I quickly jumped on the offer and gave a squeal of delight. At this sound the unicorns became frightened and ran away. I took the leprechaun to my house and changed his clothes to something normal, packed up hi belongings, and booked the next flight to Ireland. He was pretty nervous at the thought of riding on the airplane but I reassured him. He was going to be known as Patrick O’ Brian. When the day came to say goodbye, he gave me 7 gold coins and the best of luck. He boarded the plane and then he was off. I haven’t sen Patrick since that St. Patrick’s Day 2 years ago. I still go to the place where I met him. To this day, on every March 17th, a package with 7 gold coins in it comes to my house. Because of this I know Patrick is still out there thanking me for helping him.
