Fairy Tale Detective Stanley the Stoat investigates Sleeping Beauty.
Stanley the Stoat was called in to a inspect the scene in the castle sewing room, where Captain Badger was waiting for him. He had copper-colored fur and wore a big gold badge on his left side.
A young woman was lying on the floor unconscious. She had blonde hair and was strikingly beautiful.
“This is Rose,” explained the Captain, “she is the princess of this land.”
“Is she still alive?” asked Stanley.
“Yes she’s alive, but appears to be in some sort of coma.”
“A coma? What could have caused that?”
He knelt down to her body to take a closer look. Inspecting thoroughly and carefully, he finally found something on her right index finger.
“Look here,” he said pointing out the mark, “there’s a small injury wound here on her finger.”
“I see,” the Captain replied. “What do you suppose caused it?”
“Given the size, I suspect a type of needle.”
He got up and saw the spindle not too far from where her body fell.
“What is it?” asked the Captain.
“Perhaps that spindle over there.”
“The spindle? How could it do that?”
“It’s possible that someone laced it with a substance that would cause a coma upon touching it.”
