Stretching the truth: scene one.
Mario and I walked along the shore. Our horses, with outstretched neck, clove through the membranes of space, and tore sparks to pebble beach. The wind that hit us in the face, rushed into our coats, and whirled back the hair from our heads binoculars. The Seagull, by her cries and movements of the wing, trying in vain to warn us of the possible proximity of the storm, and cried, “Where do they go, this mad gallop?” We said nothing, plunged in reverie, we allow ourselves to take on the wings of this furious course, the fisherman, we passed, as swift as the albatross, seeing and believing, fleeing before him, the two mysterious brothers, as they are was so called because they were always together, eager to make the sign of the cross, and was hiding with his crippled dog in any deep rock. The inhabitants of the coast had heard tell of strange things about these two characters, who appeared on earth, among the clouds, the great periods of calamity, when a terrible war threatened to plant his spear on the chest of two enemy countries, as cholera or about to start, with his sling, decay and death in entire cities. The oldest wreckers frowned, looking grave, saying the two ghosts, which everyone had noticed the large black wing span during hurricanes over the sandbanks and reefs were the genius of the earth and the genius of the sea, walking their majesty through the air, during the great revolutions of nature, united by an eternal friendship, including the rarity and fame have given birth to the astonishment of the cable indefinite generations. It was said that, flying side by side as two Andean condors, they loved to hover in concentric circles, among the layers of atmosphere in the neighborhood of the sun, they ate, in these parts, of the purest essences of light, but they do decide to fold with just the tilt of vertical flight, terrified to orbit the globe which turns human delusion, inhabited by spirits that cruel slaughter them in the fields where the battle roars (when they do not kill treacherously, in secret, in the inner cities, with the dagger of hatred or ambition), and beings that feed on them as full of life and placed a few degrees lower in the scale of existence
