I will never lose memory of this lesson from the past.
Soon my mom will be home going crazy. I wanted to see how long it took them to notice i was gone. I looked back at the window. There was a small log next to me and as i picked it up it was pretty heavy. I looked at the window again. I took one end of the log and held with my palm my other hand at the midsection of the log. I rammed into one section of the window and i took out the glass. Now for the top section i had to get on something. So I stacked up a bunch of matresses and boards and stood on top. I was now high enough to smash out the window. I rammed it the same way I rammed the last window. Then the frame of the window was left. I opened the lower part of the frame until they matched each other. Then I took my log and smashed as hard as i could at it flew out. Now I wasn’t expecting this so my arms kinda of got scratched from the edges of the window and I accidentally dropped my log. I looked at my watch 4:05, I heard our van pull into our driveway and my mom and some of her friends came out and went into the hose. Not noticing the dilapidated garage door.
A few minutes later I heard my mom calling for me inside the house. I said nothing because I know she wouldn’t be able to hear me. I waited for her to come outside then i banged on the garage door. She said with the most frightened but almost funny way. “Are you inside the garage!?” I chuckled lightly to myself so she couldn’t hear it. “Yeah I’m here. The garage door is stuck so you can’t open it remotely or manually.” She started to panic and told my father and her friends.
They went and get some old rugs they found and gave them to me. They gave me three old rugs. I put one on the ground right outside the window. Took the other two and covered the edges of the window. I had to be really careful here because if I fell the wrong way I could hit my head on the fence about 2 feet away. So I slowly put on foot outside the window. Then I was stuck again. If I fell sideways out the window I would just impale myself on the fence right across from the window. So careful of my balance I slowly put my other leg out the window so I was sitting on the window like a swing set. I jumped out and returned home.
My family were happy of course to have me back and unscathed. As was I. So people please remember. Never pull that cord thing you see hanging from the garage ceiling … ever!
