Before his "death" on January 7, 1943, Nikola Tesla comes to Newgate.
If any man deserved to visit Newgate, New York, it was Nikola Tesla. On January 1, 1943, three scientists from the University of Newgate visited with the electronics genius in his apartment in the New Yorker Hotel. A watcher had been assigned to watch him to make sure he survived long enough for the scientists from the university to reach him and invite him to see the city and shift to other dimensions.
The men approached room 3327 and the head scientist knocked on the door. A old man answered the door.
“May I help you, gentlemen?” he asked.
The head scientist said, “We want to invite you to Newgate for a visit.”
“I have never heard of that community. Where is it located?”
“In the Adirondacks. May we talk with you in your apartment?”
“It is rather small. But you may come in. Please sit down.”
The men entered the living room and sat to talk with the man who they sensed was losing it mentally. It was such a tragedy that one of the most advanced thinkers in the world was nearly on the verge of dementia. Someone who should have been rich due to his inventions was deeply in debt for not profiting from royalties that he deserved to receive.
“We want to take you to Newgate and the dimensions we deal with so you can see marvels that may even surprise you.”
“That would require a lot of effort to accomplish. Do you have any examples of what I may see if you bring me there?”
One of the scientists pulled a rod out of his inside jacket pocket and handed it to Tesla. The inventor examined it and asked, “What is it?”
The scientist that handed him the rod said, “That is a tractor beam rod. It uses the electromagnetic fields of the earth to lift objects and draw them toward yourself. Try it. It neutralizes the mass of an item and makes it weightless.”
The man pointed the rod as a book and lifted it with ease moments later. His eyes widened and a smile came to his lips. The book flew across the room and was suspended above his lap. He stopped squeezing the rob and the book slowly descended to his lap.
