Talk about embarrassing~true Story!

How embarrassing! This is what happened….

I put in a service call to my cable provider; the scheduled time was four in the afternoon. I was on my way to a party; getting dressed, applying make-up and I had both of my dogs out in the backyard on a chain.

I was interrupted by the incessant barking of the dogs and I went out to where the dogs were, in the backyard. I had on a mini skirt and a pair of my favorite heels; I took about three steps into the backyard and the cable man appeared.

The two dogs went wild by the stranger entering onto our property and one dog ran on one side of me and the other dog ran on the other side of me and then the dogs circled around me; the chains wrapping up my ankles. These are large dogs, about 65 pounds; next thing I know, I’m on the ground and being dragged by my ankles, right in front of the cable man with my skirt all of the way up to my tummy! Yes, that is the most embarrassing moment in my entire life!

The cable man was red faced and he was kind enough to look away, saving a shred of my dignity

It sounds funny but, it really is not. The cale guy seemed like a REAL gentleman in which any one can appreciate. I am glad that you wre not seriously hurt.

Oh those embarrassing moments are something we all have in common. However, in your story you did not skirt the issue, if you know what I mean. I too have written about my most embarrassing moment. Hey, we are all human.

I really wondered what made your skirt go up when I saw the title but I sure did not exspect you were dragged by dogs accross the dirt exposed before a stranger. I cannot quite compare it to anything but some intense horror of a hedious nature, weirdly enough. I am glad it wasn’t quite that bad but it reminds me of such things. Scary.

Good grief!!! I had something similar happen to me, but not with the dogs or a cable man! I guess we all have our own embarassing moments….
