Now I’m really mad at the fact we havent had rain in awhile. It’s dry and hot. But the people are not just suffering, the aminals are too. Yesterday front page of the paper read: Sheep Rancher lost three sheep to a Bob Cat. They even called a game Warner out to show him what the Bob Cat had done. I feel for the sheep, But thats just nature! All animals have to try and surrive in these conditions as well as humans. Now every wild animal including the Bob Cats are being hunted. There isnt a lot of Bob Cats left here in Texas. Beer drinking, snuff chewing cowboys kill for fun. They chase any wild animal in their pick up trucks and kill them. Thats sport? First the Bob Cat were here first. Then humans took their homes and built on them, trying to kill them off with the coyotes, and every other wild animal that came across their path. They wont take the time to go out to the sheep at at nite and guard them. They rather stay home and drink until they pass out. There has to be ways to protect the bob cats and other wild animals from these so called rancher- cowboys. Now they are hunting whats left of these bobcats. Talk of the town. This really gets me made that there isnt another way to solve this. If you ever saw a bob cat or coyote in the wild you would see the beauty of these animals. How seek they are and how they move. They only surrive to feed their young. What happens to all the young left behind. they get killed by these stupid ranchers. They dont want these animals to grow up. Its the circle of life. Its been going on since the beginning of time. I say they have the right to live as the Bald Eagle, wolfs and any other animal that has been hunted to the point of no return. There has to be a way to stop this. Its sad that the Buffalo and other animals were nearly killed off altogether. There is no way anyone with common sense would think this was an ok thing to do. The sad part is the sheep ranchers that were in the papers were well known and hold jobs in law enforcement. This is a sad time in Texas, to let this happen. WAKE UP TEXAS!
