The Alumnus Cap.
What seems like an allusive dream, and it is mainly an approaching situation with dark clouds hanging with lightening over the exposure. This is the story of Awaken College in Brooklyn, New York. It revolves of Charles Nelson, a graduate of Awaken College and of course alumni.
As the textbooks are open and lectures are being administered, it’s the blackboard behind the request and the response in one’s chain reaction in their actions. The dialogue is captured on the steps as Charles Nelson is speaking with Mr. Peter Wilson on his Alma Mater cap from the college.
From the request being asked was like uptown and downtown not knowing the countenance. So Mr. Nelson stated to Mr. Wilson, he will send him an email regarding his cap request as a reminder. You would think the operation would be smooth in maneuvering. It simply wasn’t the case, it turned into a circumstance.
Throughout the entire request, Mr. Nelson often wondered was he denied or is the request either to big to handle, but was a small matter in the objective. It was lack of possibilities and full of emotion. Excuses and more excuses leading to stretching the truth into lies. It was lies on top of lies. It was lies leading to the cross roads with no direction.
It seemed to be opposition in a mission in getting the cap from Mr. Nelson’s Alma Mater. As Mr. Nelson thought, he was an alumnus and why was be being treated like a nothing, but had a purpose when he graduated from Awaken College. It seems Mr. Wilson was apathy and hastily through the request, but the brush off as a misdemeanor. Damaging as it sounds, but it was a principle in nature. However, the principle was in favor of Mr. Nelson. It Mr. Nelson who only asked for a Alma Mater cap, and not asking to buy the college structure. Mr. Wilson’s demise makes one wonder why he is working at the college, and Director within the Alumnus Office. It is evident that Mr. Wilson has pulled this stunt on other individuals in the past.
Mr. Nelson felt, he would not be out done, and sent the College President and the Senior Vice President and Provost of the attitude experience from Mr. Wilson. It was a strong letter outlining what transpired in the Alumni office and the person in charge in question. It was the idea of documentation in being Mr. Nelson’s conversation.
Then Mr. Wilson had asked for Mr. Nelson’s phone number in where he could be reached, and once Mr. Wilson called, “It was negativity on top of negativity”. Mr. Wilson then stated that the college had a dinner, and that the cap was unimportant. That’s inappropriate to say to a fellow alumnus who paid money to attend Awaken College and graduated with honors previously.
Mr. Wilson would often state the cap was sent, but Mr. Nelson never received. Also when the question came up about the cap, it was as if Mr. Nelson pulled Mr. Wilson’s pants down, and that he would have to ask his Assistant to check. He had to blame someone, so why not his assistant. The question being, why have your assistant research when Mr. Wilson should have checked himself. It boggled Mr. Nelson as when he asked Mr. Wilson to trace on where the package is, Mr. Wilson stated “You are a lot of work”. The whole fatality, the cap was never sent, and it was a total brush off. Eye on the consequence with a foggy detail of chore and no beams for guidance.
