The end of the human race.

The sand drifted slowly across the desolate road, the road’s only user. The sand was all that was left after that week. That week had started like any other, the road was frequently used, a main highway in fact, but that all changed when the sky turned a deep red. The earth began to shake and winds tipped the cars over and over like tumbleweed. Rain pummeled the earth and broke glass. All religions of the world began to speak of the end of human life. People flocked in their thousands to airports and high rise buildings, not knowing where they were going but just looking for a place of shelter. The seas rose and tsunamis swapped the land. Hurricanes began to engulfed the main cities of the world. All over the world the earth shook as if it was having a coughing fit, that threatened to tear it apart from the inside out. Finally the end appeared in a sandstorm, that tore flesh from bone in a matter of seconds, killing everything in it’s path. In the end there was nothing remained but sand. The end was upon Earth.
