Peter is now aware he died in the raid and is soon united with Avensis who guides him to seek revenge on his killers, but is unaware of what his guardian has in mind for him. Can Detective Chief Andrew Turner find the killers before Avensis gets his way?

Peter looked on from the top of the building down at the investigation from the Gantry at Waterloo Station. He began to think of what he was doing. “Am I right or am I wrong. If I am dead, I should be either in Heaven or Hell.”

“Look at those School children Peter, doesn’t that little girl remind you of Katherine Young?” Avensis whispered.

The little girl looked up at them and smiled. She was playing with some other children and re-sighting a poem.

“Come the Archer and the Crow,

With black feathers, fletched arrow

To avenge the death of the innocents

Will burn the spirits of the assailants

On this land they will walk no more

And ever cease to break the law.

Then we can play safely and know

We are guarded by the archer and the crow.”

The boys and girls then skipped past the dead body and police, along the platform and faded into the darkness.

The police shivered waiting for the forensics to arrive and could not keep their eyes off the corpse, which was now cordoned off from passers-byes.

“It will be interesting to see whether this Detective Andrew or whatever his name is, will guess who the next victim is and where, it might be time to give him another lead and make it a bit more interesting, do you think?” Avensis asked to Peter.

“So what is the next stage, and who the devil are you?” Peter asked.

“I am Avensis, the avenging demon of lost spirits and as you are most probably aware, you are dead, your body was just a shell, your spirit has moved on. So look and learn as we have work to do.” Avensis answered standing by Peter watching the autopsy.

Sheila brought to Andrew’s attention; the similarities of effects from the bullets and that there were not any with the same killing impact. “Here are also the same toxins damage on the shoulder of the child who was only wounded, but died later. The toxins have obviously spread to vital organs, which I will have investigated further when I have finished with Mr Robinson. I will let you know my findings tomorrow Andy.” Sheila turned and instructed her assistants to cover the bodies and put them in their Drawers for the night.
