People that stop you on the street and ask you for change to buy food.

One day a man approached me in a wheel chair he had two cookies in his hand, he said could you help me with some change to buy something to eat, he said someone gave me these cookies as he spoke he had crumbs around his mouth and  tremors aloud ed his hands to shake. as he talked to me a few people started to notice stop and stare. I had no money only a credit card experiencing a bit of financial problems myself, but I quickly acted and said to him I have no money but I will charge you some food. he followed me through the Ilse’s I asked him what he liked to eat. I told him I had to go pay for his items and then I would continue to shop for myself, at the check out counter people continued to observe and even though I tried my best not to speak loud to cause him any embarrassment for what the audience were claiming he was doing begging! I said to him I will get two receipts one for you to show leaving the store, and one for me when the bill comes. I over heard one person say he will probably return the food accusing him of being not only a beggar but a drunk. and another soft voice spoke and said miss there are not too many people in this world that would have done what you did for him. I thought to myself is that what’s wrong with the world today most of us have been hit by so many so called beggars that we have harden our hearts of compassion to help others. only God knows that mans heart and mine. we need to follow Christ’s example and leave the judging  to him we never know when we will be tested, and we never know who Jesus sends to test our hearts. it could be a beggar, a bum someone in dirty clothes, even a drunk he works in mysterious ways. Beware who he might send we only see the outter man he sees the heart of all men!
