While walking in the big city, we’re not saying a word to each other. I have no clue where I’m at, I feel like a big idiot or like a lost dog. But in this case a big lost idiot of a person, that’s how I feel. I could tell that Joao has been here before. I not sure what the situation is, with him and this city.

Because I don’t know much about Joao, the only thing I know is that he speaks my language. I don’t even know why he was in prison for. He does, seem like a person that I could count on. Because after we broke out of prison, he didn’t need me for anything. He could’ve gone on his own, but he didn’t do that. As we turn into this little alleyway: it’s one of those alleyways that not just anyone would walk down, on less they really had to. I just followed him and did not ask any question. At least not in till I can find-out, more about one thing or another, about what’s going on. Am I going to go on alone or what does he have planned for us! As he opens this strange door without any hesitation. It tells me that this isn’t his first time in here. We went up the stairs to the second floor, where he tired the door and it was unlocked. As he walked in, I stayed at the doorway and I start to look around. I didn’t know what to expect in this place. From another room this girl or should I say lady. I would say she’s around twenty-nine or so. But she look’s older; living in this kind of atmosphere it would do that to a person. They looked at each other in such away, “I couldn’t tell if they were happy to see each other or if they were matter at each other“. After a few seconds went by they started to speak to each other. I couldn’t understand anything they were saying. I didn’t speak their language, so it’s only logical that I couldn’t understand anything they were saying! After five minutes Joao asked me to come in and sit down next to the dinner table. She brought food and drinks to the table, but she never said a world or give any expression on her face. After dinner I said, thank you she looked at me without a smile. Then she turns to Joao and he explained in his language. She looked at me and bow and I returned the suggestion. Joao told me to wait while he went to the other room and talked to her. After fifteen minutes or so he came out and said, let’s go my friend.
