Love story.
It seemed like I had known him forever. I will never forget the first time I saw him. He will always be there, plaguing my mind until the day I die. He was amazing; he was everything I thought I ever wanted.
It was in early November that I first laid eyes upon his face. I was a checker at Rogers when he came through my line that day. He was wearing his baggy torn jeans, crooked glasses, and a white Adidas beanie. His entire Texas family was all together. It was the first time I had ever seen any of them enter my store. As I checked out their groceries I kept looking up at his face; he had the most beautiful, big, and bright smile that I had ever seen before. I wanted to speak to him that day, but I could not find the words to say.
From that day forward this became an everyday routine. The family would come into the store, purchase a few items, and no matter how many people were in my line compared to others, they would wait for me to be their checker, yet I still could not find out that boy’s name. I just could not find the courage to say anything to him, but that smile he always flashed me would not leave my mind.
It was then in late November that he walked into my school. Out of all four of our lunch periods, he had the same one as mine. I soon became a firm believer in fate. I looked at him and he again flashed me that beautiful smile, and I still could not bring myself to say anything to him. As luck would have it though, he sat down at my table right next to me. He had a glow of innocence wrapped around him. I could see it in his eyes, as well as that smile. He sat there, knowing not a single soul at my table, staring at his little Fruitopia bottle.
