The cemetery at the end of Wildwood Lane has always been thought of as haunted. The local residence would not venture near it for all the tea in China.
But they had a few visitors that year that wanted to put the legend to the test. What they saw they will never forget as long as they lived though they really wanted to.

The Cemetery At The End Of Wildwood Lane

*****

We all know what Micheal did with the Thriller song, the album was a best seller

for him that year also. While I can not write anything close to what he did to top

it, I intend to have fun with my version of a haunted cemetery and two young

curious boys of sixteen years of age. Hope the Triond readers like what I write.

The small town of Wildwood was typical of any small

town across America. Full of older people, screaming children, small family owned

businesses and legends. The Wildwood cemetery was no exception to that rule

rule and the towns people knew it. Most stayed clear away from the cemetery

and took a different road to avoid it. Rumor has it that strange things happened

once the midnight hour struck. For those brave enough to venture in the cemetery,

they came home sometimes white headed and wouldn’t tell anyone what they saw.

Betty Brown volunteered to keep her two nephew for a few

weeks that way their parents could go on a honeymoon So on a balmy July

afternoon, her nephews Harry and William arrived with enough luggage for three

teenagers.Once they were in their rooms they plugged in the PlayStation and

was lost in Final Fantasy until Betty called them to eat dinner. Both boys was

asleep by eleven pm and Betty was behind them after she read her old bible .

The next morning dawned with Harry and William asking for pancakes with

bacon and orange juice. Betty left them to eat and preferred a cup of coffee

while reading the local paper. It seemed a dead body of a woman was found

just inside the cemetery gates last night. Her white dancing dress was covered

in blood and her long blond hair was badly tangled.Betty then went into the kitchen

to tell the boys what they could and couldn’t do in Wildwood county. In a very stern

voice, Betty warned the boys to sty out of the Wildwood cemetery no matter what.

Bad things happen in there that you don’t need to know about, promise me that you

Thats is just like a teen age boy, do the opposite of what they are told. I never got the guts to go in the local cemetery as a kid.
