Sometimes what you think is good for you may not be.

The Circles
I bite down on my lower lips to make sure it was still there.
Every breath I took seared my lungs, it was to cold to be out.
The winter had gotten so cold, never, never at of all my years in life had the weather gotten this cold. For years the circle had always went hunting this time of the year, this year was to coldest for anyone; human or animal to hunt. If they wanted to hunt, they couldn’t find anything, Rabbit went deep underground, bird s flew far south as they could go, barley did you see a human out, only to make it to the store or where they had to go. They too have become scarce. The sun had stayed far side of the earth, and the moon, which before had been vibrant bacon, chilled to black dimness. There was a roamer amount the circle that one of the elderly was saying that, this winter would be around for four years before the cold would break.
One thing for sure we needed to hunt, we needed to feed, and I know I needed to find food, I needed to mate really badly, and it was just to cold to wonder out.
“I know that this is the only time during the year that we hunt, feed, and mate. I’m calling the hunt off, it’s too cold this year and some of us are too weak to hunt any way.” Phelps is the head leader of the hunt; it’s he that always made the decision when or not to hunt. We must wait for the chill in the air to break , accept I had no intention of waiting, I had two children to feed and I needed to mate for the year, I walk away from the circle and from My two children knowing that if I didn’t return, my babies would be taken care of by her mother. Cold, hungry and tired I kept walking toward the top of a hill, there at the crest of the snow covered hill, shaking from the cold air and wind, was my friend Debbi who had already left the circle and started out alone.
