One day, little Jimmy heard his parents talking about the credit crunch.
Being a hungry little boy, he immediately started looking in the pantry for this “credit crunch,” but alas, he did not find it. Then he looked in the fridge, “maybe it was some sort of yogurt,” he thought to himself. Still he had no luck. Just getting hungrier, he decided to look in the basement, where unopened food was kept. And, as always, no luck. He decided to ask his mother where this “credit crunch” was. She then explained to him what it was. But, being a little boy, he had no idea what she had just said. So he continued to look. A little bit later, he saw a little piece of plastic with the word CITI® on it. He had heard his mom use this word when she was explaining it to him. So he thought, “this must be the credit crunch,” but when he tried to chew on it, instead of filling him up, it just hurt his teeth. Then he finally thought, “grown-ups have a weird sense of what’s good.”
