In a small town there was about five houses out of ten that were occupied. The other five were empty almost always for the past twenty years.

In one of the homes there was a single mother that had a 7 year old son. Her name was Chasity & her son’s name was Nicholas. Nicholas was a smart boy that liked his remote control helicopters a lot. His mother Chasity was only in her early twenties. She wasn’t always single she was with Nicholas father for some years before he decided to go join the military.

So for the time Chasity was single until maybe her & Nicholas father may come to an agreement one day. Chasity was a tall thin woman with  golden brown hair that hung just past her shoulders. She had these electric blue eyes that just stood out. Almost scary looking. She loved her son with every bone in her body. She wanted for her son to meet some one close to his age that he could play with  because they were new to the culta-sack street.

There was another family that Chasity & Nicholas noticed on the other side of the street. There was a Older man looked as if he was the grandfather to a dark haired little boy. Sam  who was about 5 years old and he would come out of the house occasionally to play with his dog max. Max was a small black silky little terrier with short curls all over. The little boy Sam seemed timid at times. Nicholas was shy so he didn’t introduce himself right away.

Sam’s parents would only seem to be at home with him in the evenings & some weekends. Chasity met the  Older lady Bernice that lived on the culta scak street for the past 30 years. Bernice was a widow for 15 years now & was an alcoholic. She told Chasity that the street had a curse on it & that the other homes were vacant most of the time because weird things would always happen inside them . Chasity didn’t want to hear that because she was alone at night & they just moved to what seemed to be a pleasant neighborhood.

Chasity told Bernice she would chat with her later because she had a roast cooking & didn’t want it to burn. Chasity was saying to her self  as she trot ed    back  towards home,”That lady could be delusional because after all she did have a strong scent of vodka on her breath.”
