Things would have been different, had it not been for some inexplicable events.

No one remembered what this thing they struck was and it had all just come down to stories and rumors. Only one thing had truly been remembered: stay away from the white stone.

As Johnnas walked along, he noticed an odd thing. The walls of the cave began to have small chunks of white in them. He dismissed this and continued on, knowing nothing of rocks, minerals, legends, or otherwise.

After two hours of feeling his way through dark corridors that seemed like they had been made by some giant, intoxicated snake, Johnnas found it. A door, made entirely of a strange white stone covered in grime that spoke of the hardships and downfall of some lost civilization.

Johnnas was stricken. He had always hated stone and buildings, but this was different. Beautiful in its own strange way, it made Johnnas, a hardened man of the forest, want to cry. It was like a gateway to the past. At one time it had been pure and marvelous but now was covered in the ancient taint of time. He couldn’t bear it. He NEEDED to go inside, like some ancient force compelled him.

As he entered, he found himself on a raised walkway with one lonely set of stairs leading down into a vast chamber made completely out of the same stone as the door. In this chamber, there was the corpse of some giant reptilian beast, its flesh still clinging on in some places.

As Johnnas walked past it, the beast flicked its tail, making an enormous CRACK! Johnnas’ eyes became as big as saucers and he let out a little yelp of fear. He was startled even more when the creature flicked open its eyelid, revealing a glowing red eye that gleamed with intelligence.

Suddenly, a voice boomed through Johnnas’ head: “BY THE DARK GOD, CAN I NOT GET A MOMENT OF SLEEP?”.

“Err, uh, um…”, Johnnas stuttered.

“A MORTAL, HMM? HOW QUAINT. GET MOVING BEFORE I DECIDE TO HAVE A MIDNIGHT SNACK.”, the voice stated.

“Uhh, uhh, okay…”, Johnnas said then ran as quickly as he could away from the monster, just as it closed its eye again.

As Johnnas moved into the next room, he found himself almost in a massive pitfall and issuing from the darkness below was a horrendous moaning.
Johnnas began to pale. The sound was obviously not from anything natural, or for that fact, alive. Johnnas carefully skirted around the trap, but just then, heard another odd noise this time from the middle of the chamber he was in. As he neared the sound, he saw an odd plant that appeared to be saying: “FEED ME! FEED ME! I’M HUNGRY!”.
