Just something I wanted to write about!
Walking down the hallways in the morning, what was I supposed to do? Talk to him? Hell no! I couldn’t talk to him, that wasn’t even an option. He dumped me I wasn’t going to be little miss “You totally dumped me, but were still going to be best friends forever and ever *Insert annoying laugh here*”. I was gonna put on my big girl panties have a good day. I wasn’t going to talk to Him. I wasn’t going to look at Him. He was out of my life completely, and good riddance.
I stomped down the hallway in my gray fake fur boots, my overly baggy gray sweat pants, and my irritatingly bright pink basketball shirt. I didn’t look pretty, but I didn’t care. The guys who were my friends wouldn’t care.
A song I loved came on, and instantly I was in a good mood. It didn’t matter that I’d just gotten dumped; I was going to have a good day without him. I didn’t need him for anything.
I threw my purse down on my desk, and broke out into a spastic thing that I thought would look a little like dancing. It didn’t work. I didn’t care. Today was going to be a good day. I sprinted out of the class, but backtracked slowly and poked my head in the classroom door; my teacher was sitting at his desk, stunned. I smiled warmly at him, he laughed and waved at me. I ran for the stairs.
“Chris!!! My candy! Where is it Chris?!?” I yelled up the stairs while I gave up on walking up the stairs and sat down on them.
“Sidney, is that you? You crazy ho what are you doing on the floor?” Chris yelled from the top of the stairs, he had my candy in his hand.
“I got tired of walking, can you come here and carry me?” I asked, holding my arms up and making my “Pout face”.
“No I cant, you know I hurt my shoulder. Come on, get up, I have your candy.” His persuasion was too great; he knew I couldn’t resist candy. I have a fat girl appetite.
He helped me to my feet and held the candy over my head. “Where’s my money?” He asked, one hand out. I handed him a dollar and he gave me the candy. I tore it open and devoured it; chocolate is a Sidney’s best friend.
“Thanks, bye!” I yelled and sprinted off back to my classroom. I ran past Him and he looked at me, I ignored it and ran faster. As soon as I walked into my classroom I knew something was wrong. The lights were dim, and no one was there.
Suddenly, there was tap-dancing somewhere in the darkness. A spotlight flashed on, shining on the tap dancer. It was SherBear. Suddenly, the room was full of people and I started a sing along. The song had nothing to do with anything, and I looked down and I was in costume. I was right, today was going to be a good day.
