A young woman takes a job as a senior nurse in a care home that’s not seen rules or boundaries for years and soon learns she is in way over her head. A dead duck a naked resident a flat wheelchair and floating false teeth all contribute to – The day that went bump…

Passing the crowd of exhausted carers puffing away on their cigarettes at the bottom of the driveway hugging their coffee cups telling each other of the day’s gossip and from hearing a bit as she squeezed herself through the crowd of manor-less women what they thought of Laura’s shoes and car which was parked out of the grounds, luckily because Cyril on his rage and sprint to the pub had scratched 3 cars all down the side of the driver doors.

Laura had made it to where she wanted to be right now, she flumped down on an oversized secondhand cream chair, kicked back curled her feet under her sipped her hot coffee welcomed a cuddle and loud drill of purring from C.J she was home, she had done it she was exactly where she wanted to be right now in her life. She had made it from that dreadful day where her world shattered when 1 morning she woke up and realization had hit her from every angle, she broke free from it all that was the point in her life when the day went bump…..
