The ongoing story of a young writer living at home with his mother one step away from eviction makes a strange deal that has both tragic and horrifying consequences.

Hi, I pray everyone has had a blessed week and always remember if you are in a place where you are Loved, Honored and Respected, could be a job, marriage, friendship, whatever it may be, stay there do not be tempted away for this is a gift from God.

Now to chapter 35 of The Deal. Last time we saw Jo Anne speak to Nicholas about her plans for the church and the team her fiancee has put together to stop whatever evil forces are in the church, we now see Jo Anne talking to David…

“Jo Anne what are you doing here?”

“Don’t worry David I’m not here to cause you any problems, I just want to ask you something?”

“And what would that be?”

“How did you meet Nicholas? What is he?”

“Why do you want to know that?”

“I just want to know a little about the person who gave me these gifts?”

“Why don’t you just ask him?”

“Because he probably would not tell me and I know you have some of the answers.”

“Only thing I can tell you is my mother and I were close to being evicted from the apartment we were staying in, I did not have a job, I saw this ad on the computer talking about an Agent that could take careers to the next level and I answered the ad and in less than a minute, Nicholas appeared at my door”

“You say in less than a minute he was at your door?”

“Yes.”

“What did you have to give him to get what you received from him?”

“Why all the questions?”

“I told you why, now what did you have to give him?”

“He wanted the services of certain church people in which you were one of them.”

“You mean he requested me?”

“Yes he did.”

“Do you know where he comes from? What he is?”

“At first I thought he was the devil himself but he claims he is not but I know he is some kind of agent from hell itself.”

“Hm mm.”

“But I’m sure you must have known that.”

“I had my suspicions.”

“Jo Anne you’ve got me wondering why you want to know all of this? I don’t think it only has to do with the so called gifts he has given you.”

“I just find him interesting is all.”

“Aren’t you engaged to the Pastor?”

“I am, I just wanted to find out a little more about Nicholas, if I were not engaged to Jeff who knows?”

“Jo Anne get those crazy thoughts out of your head, Nicholas is dangerous as you well know and he would kill you in a second if you interfered with his plans.”

“I would not do that, I would only enhance his plans.”

Jo Anne leaves David’s house and a few minutes later after David contacts Nicholas, Nicholas pays David a visit.

“Nicholas Jo Anne was here asking all sorts of questions about you?”

“Questions like what?”

“She wanted to know where you come from and what you are.”

“And what did you tell her?”

“I told her what I know since she is a part of our team, I did not see any harm, I was just curious as to why at this time she wants this information?”

“She has some crazy thoughts in her head but I will go see her and take care of those crazy thoughts.”

A few minutes later there is a knock on Jo Anne’s door.

“What a pleasant surprise and what did I do to get you to pay me a visit handsome?”

“I was told you’ve been asking questions about me.”

“Oh David could not wait to tell you.”

“Ms. Brown we have a job to do, you know the mission. I feel when I chose you, I chose the right person for the job and so far you have been doing very well don’t you mess things up now.”

“That is the furthest thing from my mind, I only want to make things go better for you.”

“Well do that and get the foolishness out of your mind.”

“It is not foolishness Nicholas I just want to know more about you.”

“You know enough but maybe I will tell you a little, just so you’ll know not to cross me.”

Who is Nicholas? What is Nicholas? Find out in Chapter 36 of The Deal….
