She pulled her coat together tight in front of her.  Her weak, sweaty fingers could not keep a grip on the fabric and the wind forced her coat back open, revealing her shivering body to the cold.  Her hard nipples ached, remembering his mouth on them… sucking and biting.  She shook uncontrollably and gripped the coat tighter and pulled it closer around her.  She walked along the sidewalk gingerly, trying to keep her sore thighs from rubbing together…. He had really hurt her this time.  She lowered her head as she quickly walked pass a group of teenagers on the sidewalk.  She heard one of them laugh and say, “What happened to her?”

            They all started laughing and pointing.  She gripped her coat tighter and winced as she ran to the street corner.  Just as she turned the corner a blustering wind slammed her in the chest and ripped her coat wide open.  She turned her back against the wind and tried to block out the cold as she struggled with the one remaining button on her coat; trying to get it buttoned.  Water filled her eyes and the pavement became blurry as she watched the last button unravel from the coat and fall to the ground and roll away.  She could see her purple toes sticking out from the holes in her sneakers and wiggled them slowly, trying to keep the blood flowing through them.

            “Judy!” 

            The loud voice sent a sharp pain through her body and her breath caught in her throat.  Her body shook with fear as the familiar voice screamed her name again, “Judy!”

            She took off running away from the voice.  She didn’t feel the cold beating against her bare chest.  She didn’t notice the pain in her swollen feet.  Her legs burned as she ran up the hill.  Her heart was pounding out of her chest as she heard the voice yelling behind her, “Judy!  You better stop or it’s going to be worse!”
