Farik was born just west of Dogben royal park and for all intents and purposes, he is neither a hitchhiker nor a space traveler, He is plainly a mind sorcerers apprentice.

He took his name from the Farik constellation in the Jaros galaxy and was inducted into the Imperial mind college by his uncle Sol.

You see during the years on Earth, between approximately 1970-2047 he went to the university of life.

You may have heard of such a place yourself, well I can tell you that it does exist, having been there myself.

During our lives we are often led to believe that we are only on a certain planet for a certain amount of time, this we all know is rubbish.

Commonplace beliefs are presented by our parents at an early age and we are very quickly embroiled with lifes “troubles” and strife, but for Farik this was not the case.

A few questions that you may ask , which may be of interest will be answered during the course of the next few publications, but for this first entry, a short history of us and our systems and customs will be discussed.

Dogben

On the planet Dogben we measure time in a similar fashion to the adopted time scale on Earth, in fact we introduced the human race to the concept of time!

It is common belief that civilisations referred to as “Ancient humans” may have invented this, that or the other, you will learn in the course of time that these theories are fictitious.

On our magnificent planet we have bi-pedal entities known as humus arectis, which may be a little funny in the human translation considering that the Human race or Homo erectus derives from our language.

We have no need of commodities such as Music, televisions, books or competition.

We are a simple race, but above all we are the makers of life, our economy is a model for any civilisation to follow and we harbour little need for currency.

We do not believe in war, we believe in peace, but that said we do own the most powerful craft within the universe, but have seldom used them.

These magnificent craft are 1 Earth mile long and contain some of the most powerful weaponry to ever be conceived, to put into context the power of our smallest weapon, we mock an atomic particle splitter at being a mere toy.

We have no Bacteria or Germs on our planet and have no need for them since the conversion 400 years ago.

Living animals on our planet are free to wander here and there, they are not docile like the earth creatures, we train them to be more productive and civilised, it has even been boasted by some that they can teach animals to speak.

Our homes are round in shape and have solar star panels in order to capture the eternal energy provided by any light created.

We do not farm our food we simply subsist on a cocktail of elements produced naturally within the surrounding seas and fields.

Our communication system is a series of smiles and telepathy, we do sometimes revert to the primitive tongue talk, but this is generally reserved for more intimate moments with our close ones.

We are born from our mothers and have an upbringing similar to an earth Childs, on earth schools are places of tuition and learning, although we learn about life first, then do our schooling later.
