Short story.
The day was somewhat of a hectic one. We had finally got all of the boxes in to the new house, and I was beginning to unpack mine.
“This is my room,” I told my father, “I claimed it first and what does it matter to you! I say it’s my room so it’s my room, ok!”
I was insistent on having that room be mine. It wasn’t the largest, but I liked it the best. The people that had lived there before us had left some items of furniture in that particular room. There was a beautiful wicker desk with several drawers for my belongings, as well as a large object hidden under a white plastic over throw. I didn’t care what was left in the other rooms, but I was, however, very curious as to what was under that cover.
I began to put some of my belongings into the desk when I spotted a book. It had a very interesting cover on it and said on the book The Directionsn To Fae. I then opened it curious about what it was speaking of and inside it spoke of rules of behavior in a sacred glen. The book was very intriguing and I spent hours reading it. When I was finished I noticed that on the back of the cover it said hidden for the young one to discover for when she grows old enough to understand.
The book also spoke of the people’s interest in music and how it could just flow naturally when played on the magic organ.
“Magic organ,” I said quietly to myself and began to wonder.
Quickly I grabbed the cover and pulled it off of the large object in my room. There before me was the most beautiful amazing looking organ I had ever seen in my life. There were dozens of buttons for the top row of keys. I pressed one and began to play. To my amazement the song that flowed out of my fingers was wonderful. My parents came running into my room and wondered how such a wonderful instrument had been left behind. But I knew it must have been left for me just as the book was.
