As soon as he saw her entering the gift store, he knew she was different. Their eyes met and there was a scintillating chain of recognition that overwhelmed him.
They stood at the glass display case and he smiled complacently. She was gorgeous, she had on a black-belted coat-dress that fell just above her knees
They chatted about his obsession with artifacts and her ten year stint as an archeologist. They stared at one another across the sheath and he was bold enough to as her out to dinner.
When she gave him her number he held onto her hand for resolute seconds before finally releasing it.
He spoke confidentially across the display case, “Can’t promise I’ll be a good boy. I’ve never been wholesome.”
Her voice was sultry, smooth, velvety, and he knew something was brewing behind her carefree smile
“I know just the place.”
